Most Dangerous Cities In America-St. Louis Ranks #1

The annual listing for the most dangerous cities in the United States was just released today. St. Louis, Missouri was at the top of this years list, ranked number one.
According to the study, for every 100,000 residents, there were 2700.1 violent crimes committed in St. Louis, in 2009. 429.4 violent crimes per 100,000 residents is considered to be the national average.
Some of the other most dangerous cities to make the list were Detroit, Michigan, Flint, Michigan, and Oakland, California. So where is the safest city in America? That would be Colonie, New York. Colonie has had the honor of the safest city with a population over 75,000 for the second year in a row.
The FBI calculates the rankings of the cities with population and crime data that they gather. The FBI stated that often times the rankings are unfair, and does not endorse them.
